Their first and second runner-up placements are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional English language skills. This is a valuable skill that will undoubtedly benefit them in their future academic and professional endeavors.

On 14th February 2024, International College sent three participants: Ms. Rasita Srivilaived, Ms. Chatchanok Vunaphan, and Ms. Thitikarn Dummanee, second-year students, to compete in the BRU English Speech Competition held by Buriram Rajabhat University. The prepared speech was the first round. Five to eight minutes were allocated for each competitor to deliver a speech on the given topic: “How does soft power affect start-up businesses?” From 10 universities with 27 competitors, the five competitors with the highest scores (or who had the highest equal scores) qualified for the final round. The impromptu speech was the final round. The competitors in this round drew lots to get the sequential number and the impromptu speech topic was also drawn. Three to five minutes were allocated for delivering a speech. As a result, Ms. Rasita Srivilaived won the first runner-up and Ms. Chatchanok Vunaphan won the second runner-up, respectively.
