011118 Warehouse Management Field Trip at 24 Shopping Co., Ltd.

On 1st November 2018, 60 undergraduate students (1st and 3rd year) with the faculty members from the Manage Warehousing and Distribution course were joined Warehouse Management field trip at 24 Shopping Co., Ltd. Nonthaburi Province.

Consolation Prize Winner

Miss Chontiwa Chanroensri, a first year student of International College of KMUTNB, won the consolation prize of return air tickets (Bangkok-Penang-Bangkok) from an essay writing contest on 6 July 2018 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Thailand. The prize was presented by H.E. Dato’ Jojie Samuel, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand.

MOU with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia

On 27th April 2017, International College, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, and Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia signed Memorandums of Understanding.

Field Trip: Aircraft Maintenance Center, Thai Airways

On 25 April, International College, KMUTNB organized an educational field trip to visit Aircraft Maintenance Center, Thai Airways. From this visit, our second-year students gained insight into Thai Airways business practice and its integration of various modes of transportation. The visit is a part of Multimodal Transportation course.

Field Trip: Multimodal Transportation and Freight Forward Business Course

On  7th  February 2017,  International College, KMUTNB organized Multimodal Transportation and Freight Forward Business field trip at JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited, Kerry Siam Seaport Co.,Ltd and Lamchabang  Port, Chonburi. That is aimed at extending the students learning beyond classroom and should learn from practical perspective; therefore, lecturers are encouraged to incorporate field trip into their curriculums.

Field Trips : Maritime Transportation Management Course (Malaysia-Singapore)

During 4th -8th January 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet  Sriyanyong, International College Dean led the administrative team, Miss Achareeya Robkit, Assistant Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Mrs. Roongthip Hoontrakul,  Dean’s Advisor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ungul Laptaned, Multimodal Transportation and Freight Forward Business Expert, as well as 36 students (3rd– year)  went to visit  Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia),  Port of Singapore, Freight Links Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Tyco Fire Protection Products (Singapore) and also attended the special seminar on the topic of “Maritime Transport Management”  at National University of Singapore (NUS) by Prof. Dr. Mark Goh, Director of The logistics Institute-Asia Pacific and Full time professor at Department of Decision Sciences, NUS Business School
