Field Trips: Production Management
To enhance the learning experience of the Production Management course, which focuses on managing operations in manufacturing goods and services, the International College organized a study visit to provide students with practical knowledge from leading companies in the manufacturing and transportation industries. The course covers key aspects such as the nature and importance of production, production factors, production systems, operational strategies, and factory management.
The study visit for the academic year 2/2024 was held at the Aircraft Maintenance Center at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Ichitan Group Public Company Limited, two prominent organizations in Thailand renowned for their excellence in production and logistics management. Both organizations are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities that meet international standards.
The visit was made possible through the kind cooperation of the Aircraft Maintenance Center at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Ichitan Group Public Company Limited. A total of 93 first-year undergraduate students, along with faculty members, participated in the study visit. This activity provided students with invaluable insights into real-world production processes and logistics management, supporting their academic learning and professional development.
