International College Delegates Visit Germany

Delegates of KMUTNB led by Prof.Dr. Vilai Rungsardthong, Vice President for Academic Affairs, had a fruitful visit to KMUTNB’s partner universities in Germany between 23 September – 30 September 2017. The visit aimed to strengthen the ties between KMUTNB and our long time partners: Hochschule Bremerhaven and TU Chemnitz and boosted collaborations in science, technology, and international business. Bremerhaven has a long history as one of the most important sea port of Germany, at the mouth of River Weser.The delegation made up of the team from International College, represented by Associate Prof.Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong – Dean of the International College, Miss Achareeya Robkit – Associate Dean, and Mr. Peter van Haren – Executive Lecturer; and the team from Faculty of Applied Science represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pianpool Kirdvichai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Prayote.

Block Lecture 2018: Land Transport Management

During 22 January – 5 April 2018, Prof. Dr. Nyoman Pujawan, Head of Logistics & Supply Chain Management Laboratory and Head of Graduate Programs, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya, Indonesia will deliver the Block Lecture on “Land Transport Management” at the International College, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.  

Block Lecture 2017: Human Resource Management

At the International College of KMUTNB, we see our students as future contributors to world economy, and to widen their understanding of HRM practice at international level, we invited Prof. Dr. Birgit Vock-Wannewitz, of Hochschule Bremerhaven – University of Applied Sciences, Germany to give lecture and workshop on HRM to our students, between November 13-17, 2017.

Field Trip: @ 24 Shopping

On 2nd November 2017, International College, KMUTNB organized Warehouse and Distribution Management field trip at 24 Shopping Co., LTD, a global leader in delivering products and services through various channels by accommodating the needs of modern consumers. The group of the 60 third-year students of International Trade and Business Logistics program (ITBL) the field trip leads by Dr. Thomas E. Fernandez and International College staff. Namely, this activity gives students educational experience away from their regular university environment.

On 27th April 2017, International College, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, and Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia signed Memorandums of Understanding.

Field Trip: Aircraft Maintenance Center, Thai Airways

On 25 April, International College, KMUTNB organized an educational field trip to visit Aircraft Maintenance Center, Thai Airways. From this visit, our second-year students gained insight into Thai Airways business practice and its integration of various modes of transportation. The visit is a part of Multimodal Transportation course.
